Ellijai is a 17-year-old Scottish alt-pop/indie-rock artist with a voice that stops you in your tracks.

Blending raw songwriting, big melodic hooks and a vocal that moves from dreamlike softness to full-force power, she writes songs that feel young, sharp and emotionally alive. Influenced by artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Paramore and Wolf Alice, Ellijai’s sound sits between indie-pop and guitar-driven alt-rock , intimate enough to pull you in, bold enough for bigger stages.

After growing up around music and first performing alongside her dad from the age of 13, Ellijai has stepped fully into her own world as an artist. In 2026, she formed her first band and began bringing her songs to life on stage, with performances at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, The Garage, Endless Summer Festival, Heartland Festival and more, alongside support from BBC Introducing Scotland track of the week  and a Scottish Live Music Awards Young Live Act finalist place.

With new music arriving every six weeks and a debut album planned for summer 2027, Ellijai is building real momentum , led by a voice, sound and songwriting style that feel unmistakably her own.
